"Have you ever cut someone's hair?"
She smiled and shaked her head. Surprisingly, he gave her the scissors and comb. She looked at the tools and noticed his slippers were decorated with little cat faces.
"I'm gonna ask you to do it anyway."
He trusted her. And the cat faces were smiling too.

She didn't know what to do neither with these tools, nor that trust she was unexpectedly given. So she thought she'd just cut his hair.
It's a bit older drawing from my sketchbook that I finished today.
I couldn't resist from making a little experiment with watercolour pencils. At first I added only some colour around their silhouettes, but they looked so grey and sad that I coloured them too.
To be honest, I preferred it before colouring, because pencil shading + coloured pencils = blah. Looks okay this way, so I won't risk more experiments with shades. Unless you have some tricks to share with me. Constructive feedback about shading is welcome. About background is not. I know it's ugly. 
I wanted the figures to stand out so I left the background undetailed.
